Telstra Halls Head

Awful experience. Been waiting on a phone for 3 months, after various calls and visits being told each time that there was a delay on the iPhones. Just went into the store again only to be told that they never actually ordered the phone and that to look into the matter further I’d have to make an appointment (2-3 weeks wait).They activated the contract so I now have a new contract (higher charges) with an old phone that isn’t working properly and with no options other than to make another appointment, terrible.

Asked if my two accounts could be amalgamated to save money. Best they could do was to save $1. What's the point.

Went in to verify i.d. to connect to a prepaid service. After being skipped over a young girl with the personality of a wet blanket said no can't see you until Tuesday. When asked if there were other options her reply was make an appointment and file a complaint Tuesday". Called Telstra who immediately verified the I.d. would never set foot in this store again."

Impossible to get hold of anyone at the store. Was told incorrect information from employee which has now resulted in almost 5 weeks of no modem. Now another issue has arisen and instead of just giving me a quick call to sort the issue they send an email telling me to go back to the store. Tried calling all day, no one answers the phone and no one calls you back. Terrible service.

I had a very bad experience at this store a couple of years ago. I was a fifo worker, with a elderly mother, looking after a father with Altzeimers, so very important to be able to keep in contact. I organised a new phone, and flew to work next day. I was unable to use my phone for the 2 weeks at work. When I flew in, I went straight to the telstra shop, and was served by a young Irish man, that informed me, I did not have a sim card in the phone. he accused me of selling the sim card, and I was now trying to get a new one. I didnt even know how to get the sim card out of my phone, nor did I know that was a thing people do. I had a very exhausting time at work doing 2 weeks nights, the constant worry, not knowing how my parents were, then being faced with this young bully, that was accusing me of lying and thieving. I was completely demoralised at this stage, and couldn't stand up for myself, for fear of breaking down, I just walked out with my phone.

The staff were punctual, helpful, and very skilled. Jake was awesome!

Absolute disgrace, 6 people standing around waiting for the day to finish. I came to the store an hour before closing and they people refused to even talk to me. Then 2 of them leave the store go to shops buy snacks and come back and just eat.

Three team members poor body language chatting behind service counter. No eye contact bar one second at us then returning to convo. Approached counter the conversation personal BTW around twenty seconds later a female team asked are you right mate. Advised we are Telstra customers had our customer numbers ready identification polity asked if we were able to purchase mobile data device and add monthly contractual plan to existing account please think $89.00 400gb .Handed a brochure that we really didn’t require however respectfully accepted hand over. We were replied with not now we are busy and how’s three hours from now. Asked Will that be enough time as thirty minutes from closing - confirming opening hours, reply was umm probably not EST time. Explaining it’s an emergency due to unexpected business travel really sorry I’m a bit unorganised - time poor as well sorry please can we please do the transaction now. No ubruptly just told ya said we are time poor as well. Then turning around back faced to us as well as two other team members looking away from entrance returning to the convo with her two team members.

Have had my partners broken phone for over a month now and have been told they would get back to us on what’s happening. no calls, no communication , can’t even call the store nor get an appointment ? what is happening here ? you have our device and we would liketo know what’s going on this is getting ridiculous.

I have been calling in to the shop weekly asking if the new Samsungs have arrived, today very sternly told there is one & I wanted to purchase it. Then to be told they cannot help me until one week later. There were 2 staff behind the counter and another helping the only people in the shop. This woman did not want to help me at all and this started from when I walked in & asked about the phones. Absolutely zero customer service provided with a very assertive attitude. To be told we have things to do so can’t help you at 3pm on a Friday
